Pastures and Forest Walks

The various sections take in areas of pastures and forest walks to native bush and creek crossings.

There are historic Pa sites, for walkers only, on the adjacent Regional Park.

If you have friends or family visiting from out of the area or from overseas, this is the ideal location to bring them to. They will never want to go home!

Lambing and Calving season

This recriational park is on a working sheep, cattle and forestry farm, in the Papamoa Hills, and has been around for a number of years. During the lambing and calving seasons (August to September), we ask that people are a little more careful around the animals, for yours and their safety.

Walking Conditions

The walks are conditioned for amblers, runners and persons of intermediate fitness.

Please be aware that, at times, the trails can become slippery.
